This extension collects nothing. There is no server. Your practice history is stored only in your browser and is never sent to anyone, including the developer.
Your dictation history is kept in the browser's extension storage (chrome.storage).
This exists only to show you your progress report, and it never leaves your device.
If you have Chrome sync enabled, a summary only (total sentences, active days, error-category distribution) may travel to your own other devices through your Google account. That is Chrome's sync feature; the developer has no access to it.
None. The extension makes no outbound network requests of its own.
| Permission | Reason |
|---|---|
storage | Saves your practice history in the browser |
netflix.com | Shows the dictation panel over the player and controls sentence-by-sentence playback |
nflxvideo.net | Reads the subtitles of what you are watching to build the practice sentences |
Subtitles are only read — never stored or transmitted. Sentences you practise remain on your device as part of your history.
Removing the extension deletes your practice history with it. To clear the history while keeping the extension, click the extension icon in the toolbar and choose Clear history.
